JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL

SCENIC CANTATA FOR CHOIR, BALLET AND ORCHESTRA

Symphonic Cantata for Choir, Orchestra and Ballet, which had its world premiere at Teatro Riachuelo, in Rio de Janeiro, followed by a presentation at the SESC Palladium, in Belo Horizonte.

The Ouro Preto Orchestra, known for its excellence and versatility, celebrates the richness of Brazilian art by uniting literature, dance and music in a boundless bond with young artists from Vale Música, a project supported and coordinated by the Vale Cultural Institute. The eponymous book, a classic of world literature by Richard Bach, has taken on new contours with the adaptation signed by Maestro Rodrigo Toffolo, the original music by Tim Rescala, the narration led by the sweet voice of actress Nina Vogel, and the beautiful ballet of Cia. Pantanal Dance.

Nina Vogel designs and creates her own costume for the Concerts, inspired by the literary work and the costumes of the dancers.
